President Benigno Aquino III on Thursday assured farmers and Catholic bishops that the distribution of lands under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Extension with Reforms (CARPER) will be hastened. At a press briefing, presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said Aquino reiterated his commitment to agrarian reform during his meeting with 21 farmer representatives and members of Church and other organizations.
